I have a pretty standard point-and-shoot camera - a Samsung WB550. In 2011 I was saving up to get a DSLR, but then decided to try working with the camera I had. I wanted to see if my Samsung could give me the photos results I wanted, granted I took the time to learn how to use it properly! I mean, everyone says it's not the camera that gives great results - it's how you use the camera.
I've been working on completing this 30-Day Photography Challenge since October 2011. It's ...ahem... clearly taking me a bit longer than 30 days, but I'm enjoying the process so far! I've read my camera's manual, bought a tripod, and learned a bit about ISO and aperture, as well as some basics such as using a tripod and shooting in good lighting conditions.
If you have any tips about photography or comments on my photos, I'd love to hear them!
Here's my growing list of photos:
Day 1: Self-Portrait
Day 2: What You Wore Today
Day 3: Clouds
Day 4: Something Green
Day 5: From A High Angle
Day 6: From A Low Angle
Day 7: Fruit
Day 8: A Bad Habit
Day 9: Someone You Love
